December 2010   Douglas HS Versus PANIC!              July 2011 PANIC! Last Tournament

2010-2011 Season Comes to An End
Congratulations to the AZ PANIC! Family for a great 2010-2011 season.  As usual we logged over 11,000 miles just over the summer months  and we had a blast.  With mixed emotions we have to say "good luck" to Kayla (Paradise Valley College), Gabby (Dodge City College), Lil (Phoenix College), Tori (Phoenix College), and Ashlee (Phoenix College) as they head off to college this fall to continue with their softball dreams.  We will be playing against all of them in scrimmages, except for Gabby, so hopefully they will take it easy on us this fall.  It will not be easy on us this fall with so many dedicated players leaving for college, but it will allow us to grow to get our young dedicated players ready.   We hope to see them all at our end of the year party in December 2011.

As a team, we probably reached our peak this summer.  Our goal now is to continue to get better for the future with our veterans and with our young talent.  I know we have some eager young PANIC! players who can't wait to step into the open positions as their time has finally come.

We are very proud of the play of our entire team and we have a few special recognitions to give out for the summer season.
Most Valuable player:  Kayla Haro  (Paradise Valley)
Outstanding Defensive Player:  Tori Gil (Phoenix College)
Outstanding Offensive Player:  Bri Salcido (Douglas HS)
Outstanding Newcomer Offensive & Defensive: Nythia Machado (Douglas HS)
Rookie of the Year:  Andrea Lugo  (Douglas HS)
Most Improved: Adrianna Sinohui & Maria Roberts (Willcox & Tombstone HS)
Hardest Worker: Arielle Carranza

Now it is time to get ready to play against some Junior Colleges this fall to help our young players see where they have to get to.

Kayla Haro, Arizona High School Softball Player of the Year 2011
Congratulations!

Congratulations to  AZ PANIC! pickup player Shondra Cordova and and AZ PANIC! longtime player Kayla Haro who signed with Eastern Arizona College and Paradise Valley Community College respectively.  This is a busy month for the AZ PANIC! as at least 4 other players are weighing offers to sign or commit. (photo on left:  from Left to Right:  Former U of A Standout Callista Balko, pickup playerShondra Cordova and Assistant Coach Ashlee Baker) (Photo on Right, front row: Left to Right: Mom, Debbi Haro, PANIC! player Kayla Haro and Dad, Jaquim Haro, back row, Benson High School Coaches and Coach Jeff)

(This Championship Is Dedicated To Jesus Haro)

We are the AZ PANIC!  We believe in each other and we believe in our dreams.  We work hard to make our dreams come true.   We will not say "what if," or "what could have been."  We are doing our best to do it today!

"We Not Me"

The AZ Panic Softball Club is focused on providing our players
the opportunity to be competitive, have fun, and to develop into talented softball players through hard work  and a love for the game. We believe that we provide a viable option for players that have positive attitudes, a willingness to work and who want to play for a "players first" focused team, that puts positive instruction, sportsmanship, good citizenship and "love of the game" at a high level of importance.   We travel throughout the United States, to give our players exposure.  We are affordable, and we work hard to get players to the next level through practice, camps, private instruction and by providing help with the "College Process."  In 4 years of 18 and Under Age Group softball we have 11 current and former team members playing softball  in college,  many others attending college with their focus on academics and several current players weighing offers from colleges.   Special thanks to Mr. Rick Mattox for helping to set the PANIC! foundation.
